Mykonos, Greece.  Not a bad place to visit.  An even better location for a week long wedding celebration!  Sophie and James shipped out immediate family for a week in two beautiful villas overlooking the hills and beaches of the party island.  Welcome BBQs, pool parties, two wedding days, the lot.

Saturday was the main celebration of Sophie and James’ wedding, despite the official ceremony being the day after. Their villa had so much outdoor space so they had the main event on a veranda overlooking a beautiful bay, with hills off in the distance. After cocktail hour on the other side of the villas. was the incredibly perfect dinner setting. Perched on top of a hill, all guests had amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea, and as the sun went down, plenty of bottles of bubbly went with it. Some hilarious and heart warming toasts then the usual cake and dance, but this time with some traditional Greek dancers which Sophie loved being a part of.

The next day, only the immediate family were invited to Mykonos Town Hall for the official part of the celebration. The building was originally built in 1785 as a residence of a Russian Count, and has since been used as various offices, including that of the Harbour Master. The beautiful interior was a great setting, and surrounding area of Old Mykonos served as an amazing location for a quick portrait session with the newlyweds.
